Remarks. this man served for 14 years, during which time his duties were ever performed to the satisfaction of those under whom he was placed. In lieu of a pension it was thought advisable to give him a gratuity of one year's pay. of 27th July 1867. No 237 M. Morar, late Colonial Secretary gave the applicant a high testimonial.
